But Only You Can See Me is a game inspired by the popular trope of a fantastic character who can only be seen by one other person, as shown in media such as Harvey, Ghost and many others. This basic version of the game is designed for just two players, with an option to play with more; there will be additions to the basic game however that allow for more variety.
The story structure focuses on small, self-contained scenes, which raise and then answer questions in a matter of minutes; through these peeks into the lives of the characters involved, the story slowly builds up over time, rather that being pushed to a resolution.
