i hold empathy for the machine but mostly for the people crushed in it and under it. i hold empathy for the body as the machine.
transhumanism is a fun idea, buddy, but i just don't think most of us are going to make it there in the cool fun way. and i don't think it's going to solve the whole "having a body" problem much either.
