One of you is in love with a ghost, and one of you is pulling the strings. It’s certainly possible that it could work. It’s also possible that everything goes horribly wrong. What an utter delight.
"You Want It Darker" is a GM-less role-playing game based on a playlist of songs about death, dying, and what comes after. Players take on the roles of the ghost, the sorcerer, the lover, and the dealer and collaboratively tell the story of an attempted resurrection, building relationships and weaving the fabric of the universe along the way. As each new song plays, there are new questions and new complications.
Death is predictable because we know it’s coming for all of us. Death is unpredictable because we’re immortal until proven otherwise.
