Vampire Lovers is a journaling game about a relationship between an immortal vampire and their mortal lover, spending some cozy time together while also going against many obstacles to survive and keep their relationship thriving.
This game was written to be played as a duet, between you and your romantic partner or a close friend, but it can also be played solo, with you choosing between being a vampire or a mortal that will protect their beloved against their weakness.
You are going to need
- A d8.
- A journal to keep notes of your adventure (a physical or digital one).
- Optional: Some good music to put your minds into it.
Although the proposed idea of this game is about a couple, one being a vampire and the other a mortal (who stays as that by their decision, and as such is respected by their vampiric lover), you don’t need to follow it if you want to tell a different story, such as both being vampires or the meeting of two other creatures by the occasion that need now to help each other, and use the tools of this game for this.
