A pen and paper game for a single player, Hands On Research is a hack of Lay On Hands using the SCP universe as the playground.
The intent of the game is to work through a series of interactions with an anomaly; experimenting on it and figuring out how to define and contain it. Every experiment introduces the opportunity for things to shift and change - setbacks and opportunities arising even as new information about the anomaly comes to light.
If you've ever wanted to be an SCP researcher or play through designing your own SCP, this is the game to do it.
The required items for this game are a nice small list:↬ The game book itself↬ A pencil/pen↬ A print out of the character sheet (and optionally, oracle)↬ A coin (Canadian quarter/looney/tooney or comparable size)↬ Some space to spin the coin and play
