In 1995, the RPG publisher Sans peur et sans reproche released its excellent Miles Christi, about Knights Templar fighting evil in the Holy Land. In 2013, John Harper released the quick play space exploration game Lasers & Feelings. This is their unholy love-child.
The historical Knights Templar weren't necessarily very nice people. They certainly didn't fight supernatural horrors. But in this game they do. This is in no way meant to white-wash what happened c.a. 1000 years ago!
