You are an amateur Wizard attending the Magick College of Cacophony & Kinship in Chiralia, an inscrutable city of polyhedral buildings on a strange desert moon full of mysterious and powerful Entities and the ghostly echoes of other worlds. A glittery cloud of motes spews from a vast abyssal gash in the ground called The Aperture, veiling the city in magick. As a student, you and your fellow Wizards are expected to use your power to help people and learn more about the cosmos. Group projects are worth 66% of your grade.
Spelljammerz is a no-prep rules-lite roleplaying game for 3-5 players (with or without a GM) about Wizard students embarking on adventerous group projects to help people and learn more about the cosmos. It leans towards the absurd, chaotic, and surreal.
The system is partially inspired by the mechanics of Blades In the Dark and Lasers & Feelings by John Harper with additional vibe inspiration from Troika! by Daniel Sell.
