Sell me on… P2AXIS Free Roleplay

► An ultralight system for playing FKR-style games. FKR stands for free kriegspiel revolution, a loose style of gaming focused on immersion, freedom, made-up rules, and GM rulings.

► Use P2AXIS to make your own games, adapt your favorite media, or play in the world of any existing tabletop or video game.

► No character sheets needed. Your character’s core info fits on an index card or in your brain.

► Rules centered on interesting problems (come up with a good plan, or wing it and roll dice) and dilemmas (make a hard choice, or roll dice to cheat the system).

► Resolution via opposed D10 rolls. Advantages & penalties add D6s to your roll or your opponent’s.

► Simple rules for critical success, fumbles, and mixed/complicated successes.

► A Blades in the Dark-inspired abstract gear system that lets you pull cool stuff out of your pockets mid-game without having to decide your loadout beforehand.

► Easily hackable rules for harm and recovery. Get ready to play rock-paper-scissors with the GM to see if you die!

► Dirt-simple optional rules for armor, including fixed and variable (rolled) types.

► A no fuss initiative roll, if you’re into that kind of thing.

► Several bite-sized methods for character creation, including dual-class, freeform, pick list, and random stats.

► For those familiar, P2AXIS is more detailed than most Landshut games and just a touch crunchier than most 24XX. It doesn’t claim to be better than any of its inspirations, just a different vibe for those who want it.

► Two pages. 11” x 8.5” print-and-fold format.
