Recently, there have been more and more reports and appearances of gigantic creatures coming from all over. Out of volcanos, from the depths of the seas and in some cases, descending from the Stars. No matter where they hail from, these Eccentric Individual’s are known to attack humans, terrorize cities, consume natural resources at alarming rates and generate radiation that is toxic to human beings.
In response to the continued sightings, elite task forces or patrols have been forming all across the globe using high powered vehicles and weapons to keep these creatures or EIJI (Eccentric Individual Justifying Identification) as people are calling them at bay while attempting to also learn from and about them to increase our knowledge of the unknown.
These patrols have become quite esteemed establishments, hiring people with unique skills and talents to aid in their cause. That is where you come in…
A couple of weeks ago, you were caught in the crossfire of an EIJI attack, bringing you close to death. Something pulled you back down to Earth however…you awoke in the care of an odd looking EIJI, who explains that they accidentally killed you in the wreckage. Feeling bad for prematurely ending your life, the Guardian fuses their life force with yours, bringing you back to the living world
Since then, you've played around with your new talents, even becoming the Guardian once or twice but now, you’ve decided it’s time to put all of that to good use.
To aid in the fight against the EIJI, you are going to help patrols fight EIJI with EIJI! You’re going to make yourself a patrolman!

3 Minutes is adapted from the system introduced in Neyvn’s Holme’s “Gun & Slinger”. The game use playing cards to make moves, by drawing through playing Go Fish (modified for an RPG experience).
The game itself is about examining, hunting down and defeating Giant Aliens called EIJI, as a group of people who have themselves bonded with (and can subsequently become Giant Aliens). This is the second version of the game and as of this posting, is in public playtesting. We are hoping to release the game within a few months, based on the feedback we receive.
The materials provided below will allow you to set up and run a playtest session or sessions of 3 Minutes, including player guides, guides on how to narrate, sample Aliens and more.
