You are a sailor of few words who just arrived in a port city after a long voyage, a bored farm hand going through an antique shop on their umpteenth visit to town, or maybe you're an exiled adventurer who just slayed a dragon and obtained its treasure hoard! One way or another, you found a journal which piqued your interest. It says "If found please return to ..." followed by a name you don't recognize.

(You can pick: Whose name is on it? What's written in it? What does the journal look like?)

Out of the goodness of your heart, or perhaps for another reason, you're going to try your best to get this journal closer to this person, collecting information and passing it on, selling it, or even leaving it to be found somewhere.

Write at least one entry for each character who holds the journal before moving to the next. Feel free to include rumors, drawings of important symbols, maps, or even your own reflections and what's going on in your life and in the world around you. Keep in mind that the next owner will be able to read every previous entry.

Finally, the game ends whenever you want and as you see fit. The journal can be returned to the original owner, be lost at sea, or even willingly destroyed by someone who wishes to conceal what's written in it just before its journey is over.
