There isn’t any time for diplomacy, Katya thought to herself as Haruhi continued to reason with the American spy, who she could see plain as day was reaching for her pistol. Any other day she would’ve trusted her partner, but not after the day they’ve had. Interposing her larger body between the enemy and Haruhi, Katya drew her trench-gun and began slamming the pump action as fast as she could. There was no coming back from a move like this, but she figured there’s no coming back from the grave, either.

A dull thud rang through the U-boat as the guard’s body dropped like a sack of bricks. Maria hadn’t intended to let them drop like that, but at least she had a moment before more crew members came to check on the situation. Just long enough, she supposed, to steal the Magna Carta Diamond, replace it with the fake, and sneak back out. Taking a moment to shake the jitters out, she readied her lock-picks into place and began her work, praying to whoever might be listening for swift hands.

You all might remember a Tumblr post that hypothesized an RPG with the following statistics, in place of regular Strength, Intelligence, and the like:

  • Gumption

  • Chutzpah

  • Moxie

  • Childlike Wonder

  • The Cut of My Jib

  • A Certain Je Ne Sais Quoi

Well you’re in luck, ‘cuz somebody’s got too much time on their hands, and wanted to make it into a gen-u-ine tabletop game.

Price: $5.00
