RESPONSE is a role playing game where Players build the world you came from and Gamemasters build all you’re going to. Beginning this way allows for a distinct ownership of the initial story premise while also challenging storytellers for a truly rich cooperative storytelling experience. The unique percentile NUANCE system provides a quick-start mechanic that favors cooperative choices. For the Players, your Earthbound origin can be set in any era and feature any level of technology. For Gamemasters, the voyage and destination are equally customizable. For Players and Gamemasters alike, tables and suggestions can make for quick play but RESPONSE also leaves room for deep levels of bespoke storytelling.
