This book contains the complete core of the Era d10 Rule Set, and is suited to guide players through the mechanics, or as a quick and easy way to reference the core rules.

This modular system is easy to use, but complex to master.

It offers a set of rules which are tailor-made for each setting that we create. The specifics for each world can be added to or removed from the "Fundamentals" of the rules to create the flavour that's wanted - Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Survival Horror, Modern and so on.

However, the central parts of the system don't change from game to game, meaning the knowledge is mostly transferable, with only setting-specific rules each time.

This offers a huge amount of flexibility, as well as a grounding: the way in which the rules are combined can offer a completely different gameplay experience - Era: The Consortium's Sci-Fi Universe taking on rules from Era: Survival's zombie apocalypse has a very different feel to the opposite way around.

In short, Era d10 Fundamentals is the best possible guide to the common parts of the rule set which you will find in every one of our Era Games.

It is the product of eight years of playing, testing and analysing the rules, and of ten unique game lines. It builds on decades of shared experience in roleplaying on the creative team, feedback from our community and a dedication to making something which truly works.
