S'Nebelmännle vom Federsee - or on English - Fog Spirit of Federsee is an intimate Partner Game based on a folktale from Upper Swabia.
In Fog Spirit of Federsee, you and your partner will read parts of the folktale and take on the different characters of the folktale in other parts. You will immerse yourself in three scenes into this world of wonder and magic, make strange acquaintances on your wandering path home to find back to your partner. Within the game, it is the 5 elements and your imagination that will shape the tale!
The game is formatted in A5 and has 20 pages, so it can easily be printed on A4 paper and turned into a little booklet. The retelling of the folktale and all artwork are original work by Ralf Mayenberger.
This Game is a submission to the Five Powers Jam and the Folklore Jam 2020. For the time of these jams, this game will be marked at the low price of $3.
Fog Spirit of Federsee is based on the Element Dice System, but it can be played independently and without any experience in the system.
CW: The game itself doesn't mention problematic topics, but you might encounter the following topics in your role-play of the three scenes: cannibalism, emotional hurt, trust issues, romance.
