An espionage adventure in the form of print-and-play RPG, designed to be played through the mail to support the United States Postal Service. No GM/DM needed.
Drawing from the world of solo-RPG journaling, The Resistance of New Holloway has players using regular playing cards as prompts as they exchange letters about the victories, struggles, and losses experienced by resistance operatives working against a fascist regime. But players do not draw prompts from their own deck. Instead, with each letter sent, they'll enclose a playing card to act as a prompt for their partner's reply.
Designed specifically to be played through the mail, American players will be able to support the United States Postal Services and help the threatened institution stay funded in the lead up to November's presidential election.
Players elsewhere, can play to support their own local mail/post office, a vital service for all communities.
Download includes a two-sided 8 1/2x11 trifold guide to play the game. To play, both you and your partner will need a copy of the rules (no need to purchase twice, just send the pdf to the other player), a six sided die, a deck of regular playing cards, paper, postage, and envelopes.
Pick up a pen, buy some stamps, and get to work. New Holloway, and the USPS, need you.
