What was the RPG Pipeline

The RPG Pipeline was a posting board to keep track of upcoming tabletop rpgs from 2015 to 2021 (this Blogger version began in 2019). It covered new English language ttrpgs and ttrpgs going into crowdfunding.

Pellet Heck [Free]

Pellet Heck [Free]:

Pellet Heck is a tabletop roleplaying game about people in a supernatural border-realm defending it from calamity.

This defense is done by rolling a ton of dice down a slope at your friends.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Written, tested, and published in a week, Pellet Heck is a crunchy experiment in converting bullet hell mechanics to tabletop rpgs.

It's 20 pages, and it includes a character sheet and starter scenario.

EDIT: I did some additional research, and this might be the first bullet-hell ttrpg? Granted, I thought my fishing game was the first of its kind too, so I may not be correct here. Anyway, if you also have a bullet-hell ttrpg, send me a message and I'm happy to drop a link to it on this page.

2nd EDIT: It looks like someone was developing one in 2011, but the links are dead and I have no idea what became of it. So: Pellet Heck isn't the first, but it might be the first in publication?
