You are a monkey on a space station that sits on the border of the Terran Hegemony and the Forbidden Sector. You are trained to do space stuff, and you are much smarter than your ancestors, but you are still a monkey who does monkey stuff. Something has gone wrong on the station, and you and your fellow monkeys are the only ones who can fix it.
