This is a public playtest packet for Vagabond Pen & Paper's next game: Summers of 17XX. It represents a work-in-progress, and includes only a limited selection of character and gameplay options. This is intended to gather feedback from a variety of tables on the basic gameplay system for the upcoming game. Summers of 17XX is a GMless cooperative tabletop role-playing game for three to five players. You'll play as Patriots in the Nikosian War for Independence, inspired by the colonial revolution of British America in the 18th century. Choose your Roots and your Occupation to build a list of Skills, and use those Skills to fight in the streets and on the docks in A Tea Party in New Albion, and then on the Congress floor in We Hold these Truths to be Self-Evident.
