This is a weird fantasy hack of Apocalypse World & Dungeon world, using some alternative rules and completely different playbooks. File contains 10 playbooks (Assassin, Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Thief, Wizard), a DM booklet, new moves, and a brief explanation of the original rules elements.
Tales of the Obsidian Idol focuses on improvisational storytelling where authority over both the world and the narrative are shared equally between players and DM. Players familiar with any PbtA game will find a familiar framework with some exciting new ideas and techniques.
