Making History: Three One-Session RPGs

Making History: Three One-Session RPGs:

Making History: Three One-Session RPGs
Publisher: Molten Sulfur Press

Three one-session RPGs, each with a full adventure, a simple rules set, and pregenerated characters!

Norse Ivory. 994 A.D. The PCs are Normans: descendants of Vikings who seized territory in France a century before. Now their duke has sent them north to the frozen land of their pagan ancestors. They will travel to the edge of the known world in the company of actual Norsemen who despise them for abandoning Norse religion and culture. A game about heritage and faith.

A Killing in Cahokia. 1100 A.D. The PCs are detectives in the medieval Native American temple-city of Cahokia. While investigating an unusual murder, they get tangled up in something much bigger. A game about who gets to decide what form a society should take, and what gets lost along the way.

Darken Ship. Modern day. The PCs are sailors in the United States Navy who awake to discover they’re alone on a vessel that should carry three thousand. Terror and mystery lurk in the dim red light of the ship’s passageways. Strange discoveries offer clues about what happened. And who knows? The PCs may even save the ship. May.

Each adventure is a single-session, standalone story grounded in the real world. The rules are super simple and keep the focus on the heart of the scenario. The pregenerated characters are complicated people with motivations that keep the story moving organically. Each game takes 3-4 hours to play and only an hour or two to prepare!

Live history. Make history.

Price: $12.00
