Cut to the Chase is an exciting two player RPG where you play out a chase scenario. The Hunter is much faster than the Prey, but the Prey has a head start and can use their wits and cunning to evade capture. The play moves in rounds where each character gets to act in a scene framed by the other player. The characters have resources they can us to aid their actions and if the Hunter catches up to the Prey there is an epic clash. The outcome of the clash ultimately determines which character is successful.
Included with the game are 16 playable scenarios that you can jump right into. They range in genre from fantasy & sci-fi to cartoon cat and mouse, and everything between. You can also create your own setting collaboratively at the start of the game by answering a series of questions.
Cut to the Chase usually clocks in between 20 – 60 minutes and is great for playing while waiting for the rest of the group or on your lunch break.
